OTTO Navigation delivers turn-by-turn route guidance directly to the driver's in-vehicle tablet, ensuring every route is executed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Once dispatch publishes a route, drivers automatically receive their assigned stops, student pickup and drop-off locations, scheduled arrival times, and special rider instructions, all displayed alongside an interactive live map. As the route progresses, OTTO guides drivers from stop to stop while recording completed pickups, drop-offs, and route status in real time, instantly synchronizing updates with the dispatch office. This seamless integration between routing, navigation, live GPS tracking, and dispatch eliminates paper route sheets, reduces navigation errors, improves on-time performance, shortens training time for new drivers, and ensures every student is transported using the safest and most efficient route possible.
Driver Check-In
OTTO Driver Check-In provides a fast, secure, and fully digital way for drivers to begin their workday while ensuring accurate workforce tracking and operational readiness. Drivers simply authenticate using their secure personal PIN, select their assigned vehicle and route, and complete the check-in process directly from the in-vehicle tablet. Once checked in, OTTO automatically links the driver, vehicle, route, and schedule, activates navigation, records work hours, and enables real-time route monitoring for dispatch. Throughout the day, the system continuously updates driver status, route progress, and operational activity, giving transportation managers instant visibility into who is driving, which vehicle is in service, and the status of every route.
